Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Program

In the last few years, there has been a lot of information and news coming out about the environment and how much waste humans create. There has been some scary information released about the amount of plastics that are ending up in the oceans and harming plants and animals alike. We have been thinking about this a lot at FSNB, and are making some big changes so that we can all reduce our impact to this global problem.
You have probably heard of the three Rs: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. We are making changes at Flower Spirit Natural Beauty based on these three ideas.
Reduce: When you purchase our products, we are happy to provide wrapping and a bag but will also skip that step, if you don’t need it. We have also made the switch to paper bags as they are more sustainable to manufacture and recycle.
Reuse: We are very excited to announce a new program to reuse the glass bottles from Flower Spirit Natural Beauty products. When you have finished up a glass bottle, please save it and bring it back into the spa to get 5% off of your next FSNB product purchase. These bottles will be cleaned and sterilized and reused for the next batch. This program applies to the glass bottles being introduced for all of our products, which will be described below. You might want to keep your empty plastic bottles to reuse for your next trip or for when you want to give a sample to a friend!
Recycle: It’s no coincidence that the glass mason jar has become a symbol for the eco-friendly movement. Glass can be recycled over and over again without degrading or losing its purity. Plastic on the other hand, can only be “downcycled” into something different, because it loses quality each time it’s processed. This is just one of the many reasons we have decided to switch all of our packaging to glass bottles. FSNB has almost completed the transition to glass (we are using up all of our other bottles first). We hope you will participate in our “Refill program” (for a 5% discount!), but if not, glass bottles are widely recyclable and can be turned into something new.
These are just a few small changes that will have a big impact on our waste!
